Book Sales
The Friends of the Library hold book sales to raise money for our programs in support of the Library.
All of the materials offered at the sales have been donated by the public. Most of the items are used books, but there are also some other types of items such as DVDs, CDs, videos, etc. Books include hardcover fiction and nonfiction as well as both trade and mass-market paperbacks. Some sales include “better books” that are individually-priced.
In recent years we have held three periodic sales each calendar year, usually in February or March, June, and September or October. In some years we have held a fourth sale.

Past Book Sales
- Saturday, June 12 - Saturday, June 19, 2004. This was an unusually large Blowout Book Sale and Celebration prior to the closing of the Highland Avenue building for reconstruction.

Ongoing Book Sale
In addition to these periodic sales, we also run an ongoing sale at the Library throughout the year during Library hours. Our ongoing sale shelves are near the Library lobby area, to the left of the Circulation Desk, next to the elevator. Ongoing sale books are individually-priced.
