Join author Joyce Antler for an entertaining and informative presentation and discussion of the history of the Jewish mother and her paramount role in her family. Professor Antler will talk about her book You Never Call! You Never Write! A History of the Jewish Mother, published by Oxford University Press in 2007. In advance of Mother’s Day, the program should stimulate insight into maternal nurturing and expectations.

Joyce Antler is the Samuel Lane Professor of American Jewish History and Culture at Brandeis University, and the author or editor of nine books.

Copies of Antler’s book will be available for sale and autograph following the presentation, thanks to the assistance of New England Mobile Book Fair.
